Class of 2017 Highlights

  • 131 graduates will attend 75 different colleges and universities in 24 states, Washington, DC, England, and France
  • The class was admitted to 186 different colleges and universities. (See full list here.)
  • 69% of the class will attend colleges and universities outside of North Carolina; 51% will attend private universities.
  • 998 applications submitted by 131 seniors, which averages 8 per student.

Scholarships and Special Opportunities

  • $11.4 million total scholarship offers based on academic merit, athletics abilities, or special talents.
  • A recipient of the Morehead-Cain Scholarship to attend UNC-Chapel Hill; the fourth Country Day recipient in five years 
  • A National Merit Scholar, attending the University of Chicago
