Mindfulness Workshop with Jennifer Hawthorne
Mindfulness has been shown to reduce anxiety and stress, increase focus, promote well being and social skills, and help children stay grounded in the present. These are particularly important skill sets to hone, as levels of anxiety and depression are the highest ever recorded for our children (and for parents!).
Jennifer Hawthorne will host four Mindful Mornings for parents (Tuesdays, October 24, November 7, 14, and 21) in the Lower School Dance Room from 8–8:30 am. Not only is this a great opportunity for parents to take time for self care, but it will also give hands-on practice implementing the ideas/strategies Jennifer will share. We hope you'll join us!
