JK-1 Before the Bell Coffee: "You're AMAZE-ing, A Celebration of Identity at Country Day"
This event has traditionally been billed as a "Father's Coffee," and we strongly encourage parents who can't normally attend during-the-day-events to attend.
One grownup from each family will have the opportunity to spend 30 minutes (7:15-7:45 am) in your child's classroom engaging in a special project together. From 7:50-8:40 am, families are invited to attend a parent education event in Levine 105/106.
This year's focus is on our diversity, identity, inclusion, and community building work in JK-1st grades, followed by a Q&A. Join Adele Paynter, Rebecca Patterson, and a group of early childhood educators to talk about how we foster a healthy sense of identity and build children's cultural competency skills so they can live, lead and thrive in a multicultural society.
