Congratulations to the following Upper School students for their recently earned music honors:
Angelina Quan (11th grade, violin) for being selected to perform as a member of the North Carolina Honors All-State Orchestra, where she will perform at the North Carolina Music Educators Conference Opening Session in Winston-Salem.
Graham McPhail (12th grade, percussion) for being selected to represent Country Day at the 2022 NCAIS Honor Band Clinic. More than 70 talented high school band musicians were selected to perform at this year’s event at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Graham performed under the direction of Dominic Talanca from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
