Upper School Choir Participates in International Choral Festival

On March 23, Upper School choir members had the privilege of presenting a world premiere piece called "The Mosaic Mass" with 200 singers from America, South Africa, and England.

It was the culmination of a whirlwind six-day experience in London, led by Choral Director Robin Garner and Head of Upper School Matt Less. In addition to taking part in this international choral festival, the students had the opportunity to perform with Voces8, one of the world’s most elite choral ensembles.

The way our students prepared and presented their performance was at a high level of musical artistry and sensitivity. I was proud to have them represent Country Day."

During the visit, students also visited historical sites in London and took in a performance of "Hamilton." Congratulations to these students: Harriet Brantley, Auden Bunner, Zoe Deitemeyer, William Dixon, Benjamin Farnham, Paisley Fuller, Mason Maher, Abby Padron-Preciado, Lillian Smith, and Kathleen Stubbing
