Upper School students recently put their diplomacy, research, and debate skills into action while representing Country Day at the highly competitive UNC-Chapel Hill Model United Nations Conference (MUNCH), held February 27–March 1, 2026. Widely considered one of the most competitive Model UN conferences in the state, MUNCH attracts student delegates from across the East Coast.
Twenty Country Day students participated in the conference, collaborating with peers from other schools to tackle complex global issues, negotiate solutions, and represent historical and contemporary figures in committee simulations. Several students were recognized with top honors for their outstanding preparation, leadership, and diplomacy.
