A Country Day education goes beyond academic achievement—it's about nurturing curious, creative, and confident young adults. By the time they graduate, our seniors are equipped not just for college, but for life. We asked a few members of the Class of 2025 to reflect on their time at Country Day, their most meaningful activities, and what lies ahead. Their experiences may differ, but each one reflects our mission to shape well-rounded, healthy individuals ready to make their mark.
Meet Charles Michael Horton, an aspiring entrepreneur; Lula Barber, who’s headed to West Point to study STEM; and Nile Collins-Friedland, this year’s Senior Class president and a global-minded soccer player. Nolan Bates, who joined as a freshman, has thrived in academics and athletics, playing on five sports teams. Olivia Graves launched her own art business, OGG Creates, while Oliver Halverstam and David Stiefel found their voices on the Debate Team and share a love for tech. Benjamin Farnham sings, plays varsity tennis, and earned his private pilot’s license; Rachel Guffin is following a similar flight path and will study aviation sciences at Baylor University.
