Country Day's Upper School Director of Theater Arts Jenny Goodfellow was presented with the 2022 K12 Theatre Arts Educator Award by North Carolina Theater Conference (NCTC) board members at a special ceremony on February 24, 2023. The accolade recognizes theater teachers producing high-quality work and striving to serve the North Carolina theater community.
The award ceremony and celebratory dinner followed an encore performance of the Upper School One Act play, “Failure: A Love Story,” which brought home multiple awards at the NCTC Regional Competition, including Jenny receiving an award for Excellence in Directing.
