Students in Mr. Charles Tuttle's Honors Engineering Class recently visited the Farm, immersing themselves in hands-on learning. They helped to begin the build for a JK–12 Low Ropes Course.
"This is a completely student-inspired project," said Mr. Tuttle. "I asked them what engineering pathway they would like to explore and they had a passion for civil engineering."
Under the guidance of Director of Educational Programming Steve Wall, students eagerly paved the way for an innovative educational resource that will leave a lasting impact. When complete the low ropes course will be used for leadership and team-building activities.
