Congratulations to the cast and crew of Failure: A Love Story!
After winning the state competition in the fall, they took their award-winning one-act play to the Southeastern Theatre Conference High School Play Festival in Kentucky in early March and finished in third place and earned the Judges Choice Award for excellence in Collaboration of Direction and Choreography. Additionally, Lance Toppin and Tiffany Utley were recognized as ALL STAR cast members. Bravo!!
At the North Carolina Theater Conference state competition, the ensemble was selected as Distinguished Play. Additional awards included:
- Outstanding Achievement in Acting: Lance Toppin
- Outstanding Achievement in Design and Production: Annabelle Hernick
- Daniel Seaman Outstanding Ensemble Award
- Excellence in Acting: Charles Dekle and Tiffany Utley
- Excellence in Directing: Jenny Goodfellow
