Actually spanning the course of several weeks, Country Day’s 2024 Teacher Appreciation Week amounted to a treat for all!
Lower School teachers were celebrated in the final days of April and the earliest of May, with Pour Farmer coffee; breakfast and snacks in the Teachers’ Lounge; and a luncheon from Tin Kitchen. They ended the week with the perennial favorite: delivery of notes of appreciation from students and parents alike. Thanks to LS Hospitality Chairs Collins Cherry and Tracy Goodwin for the thoughtful and creative array of offerings!
From May 6-10 at the Middle School, teachers rocked out to 90s music while sipping on Hip Hop Smoothies; enjoyed a raffle-complimented luncheon of Viva Chicken; and concluded their week with a breakfast in the Faculty Lounge. Many thanks to MS Hospitality Chairs Anne Warren and Lauren Smith for this fun — and musically-themed — spread of events!
The Upper School celebrated with a teacher appreciation luncheon in April and a donut truck in May, expertly coordinated and beautifully appointed (as always!) by US Hospitality Chairs Ashlie Zusi and Cissy Brantley.
