Beginning at sundown on Wednesday, October 2 through dusk on Friday, October 4, many will celebrate Rosh Hashanah or the Jewish New Year. According to My Jewish Learning, Rosh Hashanah “is a time of inner renewal and divine atonement” for those who celebrate.
