Middle School Students Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and Begin a Year of Belonging

This week, Middle School students began our yearlong focus on Belonging with a special advisory lesson celebrating the start of Hispanic Heritage Month. They explored the contributions of Hispanic and Latino individuals across the arts, science, sports, medicine, and public service, and considered how learning about and valuing the stories of others can strengthen belonging within our community.

The conversations were a meaningful start to our continued work around what it means to feel seen, valued, included, and respected at Country Day.
