Alumni Networking - Connecting Seniors with Real-World Experience

On April 1, 28 alumni, representing a wide range of careers, returned to campus to share their insights and experiences with the Class of 2026 at a networking event organized by the Office of Alumni Affairs. Small-group conversations created space for real dialogue and meaningful conversation. Discussions focused on career exploration, defining personal value, and navigating challenges and uncertainty. The seniors were encouraged to think beyond what they feel they have to do and consider what they want to pursue.

In its second year, the Alumni Networking event strengthens the Country Day alumni network while supporting students beyond the classroom. It is a meaningful example of “Bucs for Life.”

The morning began with alumni reconnecting and preparing for conversations with students. Head of School Dr. Tara Christie Kinsey stopped by to share remarks on the importance of the event, noting that conversations with seniors have highlighted a growing desire for more real-world career guidance.

A heartfelt thank you to the 28 alumni who made time to connect with seniors. Thanks also to Drew Witman ‘06, Liz Verhagen Houston ‘00, and Buckner Bell ’10 for their special effort in making this event an impactful experience for seniors.
