Athletics
Our Athletics program is a fundamental part of a Country Day education. On average, 85 percent of our students in Grades 7–12 participate on at least one interscholastic team in a given school year.
Student-athletes have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with their teammates and learn important life lessons while experiencing the pride of competing for their school. Buccaneer teams have built a storied tradition, earning 145 state championships in the school’s history.
Our Program
Country Day has a long and storied athletics history with rich tradition. Whether demonstrated by the achievements of individuals and teams or the memories in the hearts of our student-athletes and coaches, our Bucs Spirit defines our success.
The Country Day athletics program builds on the lessons our student-athletes are learning in the classroom, serves as a focal point of school and community pride, and connects us with peer schools and communities beyond our campus.
