Visiting Cannon Campus

We love having our parents visit our campuses and truly appreciate the level of partnership you provide. Over the past several years, thanks to investment by the Board of Trustees, a variety of measures have been implemented to enhance the security of our open campuses—from increased personnel and improved alert systems to campus-wide access control locks.

What’s new this year for Cannon Campus?

Starting September 8, all campus buildings will be equipped with controlled access locks. The Levine Center Main Desk (where Admissions and Head of School's Office is located) is your primary check-in location. Park in the visitor lot and head to the Levine front door where the receptionist will let you in to get your visitor badge.

The Levine Center is our main check-in location. Secondary check-in locations include: Cramer Hall (Purdy side Admin Desk), Bray Hall (Main Lower School Admin Desk), Belk Learning Center (Upper School Library), Athletics Office (Harris Performance Gym), and Plant Operations Admin Office.

What stays the same for Cannon and Bissell Campuses?

Come to campus for lunch with your child, to volunteer in a classroom, to meet with a faculty or staff member, or one of the many other ways you are welcome to campus during the school day. Just remember to check-in and wear your visitor badge the entire time you are on campus (the first time you check in, you will need to show your driver’s license).

What else should you know?

  • All employees and Upper School students use their badges to access buildings. Please note replacement badges cost $25.
  • Community events like the Halloween Parade, Grandparents Day, and athletic events do not require checking in.
  • Our security team wears bright yellow shirts, and they are here to help you if you have any questions or concerns about where to park or check-in.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call David Robinson, Director of Risk Management & Security at (980) 515-4976.

We all play a role in keeping our campuses safe. If you see something, say something. Our security number is (704) 943-4630.
