The Country Day physical education department along with the athletics department really helped to cultivate my hardworking mentality and gave me all the tools I needed to succeed at the next level."

Andrew Wilks '19 wins the Cotton Bowl

A tight end and special teams player for Tulane University, Andrew and his football team took down Southern California in the New Year's Day Cotton Bowl. In attendance to cheer on their classmate were Cooper Bates '20 and Phelps Thomas '20.

"We are a team that focuses on the little things that lead to big results," Andrew said. "When I committed to Tulane I never expected to be playing in the Cotton Bowl, but I was not surprised when that is how our season ended. We have great coaches and players who do things the right way, and you can clearly see the results."

Andrew is a double major in finance and legal studies at Tulane and has two more years of eligibility for the Green Wave.
