Glenn Sherrill '89 and David Mancos

Glenn Sherrill Jr. '89 was honored with the Alumni Service Award at the 2022 Alumni Volunteer & Distinguished Faculty Appreciation Luncheon on April 1. Interim head of school David Mancos shared the following remarks about Glenn.

This award is presented by the Alumni Association to alumni who have demonstrated extraordinary service to Country Day and provided outstanding volunteer leadership in support of the Alumni Association’s mission of engaging, connecting, and celebrating.

I am pleased to present this award to Glenn Sherrill, an individual I admire and respect tremendously, a proven leader who has served as a passionate and committed supporter of Country Day.

Glenn joined the Board of Trustees in 2014 and has served as Chair of the Property and Grounds Committee since 2016.  He also was a valuable member of the Forefront Campaign Cabinet. His forward-thinking vision for the school and selfless service helped drive the campus transformations we have experienced in recent years.
