Back on campus to start the new year, Country Day welcomed nine young alumni who are currently in college to participate in the Alumni College Forum, to share their advice and experiences with our juniors and seniors.

The assembly was filled with engagement from both students and the alumni panel. Students asked thoughtful questions and the alumni panel provided open and honest insight about college, shared fun stories and inside tips, and gratitude for their own Country Day experience as it prepared them for their next step.

“Do your best to look beyond the flash of a college tour and focus on what you want in a college,” said Billy Bossong '21. “Introduce yourself to your professors, meet new people, and be open to new experiences," said Peter Lawing '22.

“The Alumni College Forum was really valuable," said senior Caroline Owen. "It was a good reminder that there is no one way to go about the college process, and hearing from past seniors felt very reassuring."
