Our Culture of Philanthropy

We have a longstanding culture of philanthropy that enables us to serve our students and teachers well. For more than 80 years, the extraordinary generosity and commitment of our parents, alumni, and school community has sustained our ability to offer excellence in education.

Country Day Fund

The school's number one fundraising priority each year provides unrestricted support to our operating budget.

Endowment & Capital Giving

Our endowment plays a critical role in allowing Country Day to fulfill its mission and ensure long-term financial stability.

Planned Giving

Planned giving preserves your legacy and helps secure the future of Country Day.

At Country Day, tuition covers only 80–85% of the cost per student each year. Annual giving and gifts to capital projects, endowment, and parent support groups provide additional support and avenues for community members to engage in the life of the school.

Wellford TaborFormer Trustee, Parent of Graduates, and Forefront Campaign Co-Chair
