Head of School Dr. Tara Christie Kinsey

A nationally recognized leader in independent school education, Tara Christie Kinsey, PhD, began her tenure as Country Day’s 13th Head of School in July 2025.

Since joining Country Day, Dr. Kinsey has quickly made her mark as a leader who listens deeply and leads with heart. Whether connecting with students while walking around campus or cheering at a game, she has become a familiar and beloved presence. With a vision for the future and a respect for the traditions that define our school, Dr. Kinsey is guiding us forward with clarity and care.
