David Mancos, Interim Head of School

In 2023, Chief Financial Officer David Mancos was named Interim Head of School until Dr. Tara Christie Kinsey starts her new role on July 1, 2025. As a trusted and valued member of our community for nearly 25 years, David is a committed and hard-working leader, has shaped and developed a "best practices" culture that touches every aspect of the school's operations—from investment to accounting to property and grounds to ancillary services.

During his tenure in key leadership roles, including successfully serving as Interim Head of School for the 2021–22 school year, David has demonstrated keen leadership and communication skills, steadfast dedication, and tremendous strategic vision throughout his distinguished career at Country Day.
