New Logo and "Country Day Ready" Brand

In the fall of 2014, we rolled out new visual elements that reflected a refreshed brand message for Country Day. Beginning with the Strategic Planning Listening sessions in the fall of 2011, we began asking questions and listening to perceptions about Country Day from people inside and outside the school. This extensive research with prospective families and admissions influencers by an external firm specializing in school reputation, as well as research by our Admissions Office with newly enrolled families.

Based on all we learned, the school's marketing work team developed a set of refreshed brand messages, known as a brand platform. The team tested the brand platform with our constituents and refined it along the way, through multiple touchpoints adding up to thousands of contributions to the brand development process.

Though the process was complex, our goal was simple: Develop the tools necessary to tell the Country Day story more consistently and with one voice. These messaging tools continue to serve as the foundation for all school marketing and communications today.

This brand promise celebrates what we do every day to prepare students for college and beyond. They are ready for life in a way that only Country Day can prepare them.
