Class Highlights

  • 137 graduates attend 71 different colleges and universities in 25 states, Washington, DC, England, and Ireland
  • The class was admitted to 172 different colleges and universities (see a full list here)
  • 76% of the class attend colleges and universities outside of North Carolina; 24% attend colleges and universities in state.
  • 57% of the class attend private universities; 43% attend public institutions.

Scholarships and Special Opportunities

  • $10.6 million total scholarship offers based on academic merit, athletic abilities, or special talents.
  • A recipient of the Morehead-Cain Scholarship to attend UNC-Chapel Hill; the sixth Country Day recipient in seven years and 31st in school history.
  • Other notable scholarships, include: National Merit Scholarships and Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship.
  • Recipients of the 2019 Global Seal of Biliteracy (award based on STAMP Assessments that measure the students' second-language proficiency)
  • Numerous universities across the country accepted one or more of our seniors into their Honors Programs.
