Boosters Club

The Boosters Club was founded in 1977 to encourage and support strong interscholastic athletic and physical education programs at CCDS. Each year parents volunteer their time and expertise to support our athletes through a variety of fund-raising, spirit-promotion and community-building activities such as membership, concession and ticket sales, merchandise sales, and an annual golf tournament.

One of the primary purposes of the Boosters Club is to assist the school in purchasing athletic equipment that benefits every CCDS student. Coaches and PE teachers submit specific funding requests through an allocation process administered by the Boosters Club Board. The Boosters Club has funded:

• Tennis ball machines
• Upper School field scoreboard
• Track and Field equipment
• Field Hockey goals
• Strength and conditioning equipment
• Girls’ lacrosse equipment for Middle School PE
• Varsity and Middle School softball equipment
• Middle School football/soccer scoreboard
• Middle School baseball equipment
• Sports video cameras
• Charter buses for large teams

In addition, the Boosters Club provides professional development for our coaching staff, supplying funds to attend seminars and workshops.
