Sports Spectacular
Director: David Knox (704-943-4778). Camp I: Rising JK–K. June 16–20, 9:00 a.m. to noon. Camp II: Rising grades 1–4. June 16–20, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Camp III: Rising grades JK–K. David Knox is in his sixth year teaching Lower School physical education and coaching varsity soccer at Charlotte Country Day School. Lower School campers work on one of five sports each day: basketball, indoor hockey, lacrosse/t-ball, tennis, and soccer. The focus is on basic skill acquisition and development. Skills are put into practice in game-type situations in a fun environment. Current and former CCDS girls’ soccer players assist at the camp.
