Summer Chess Camp
Rising grades 1–6. Session I: June 23–27. Session II: July 14–18, 9:00 a.m. to noon. $155 each session.
Join us for a comprehensive introduction to the game of chess. Research has found that chess can play a valuable role in the education of children. It teaches discipline, increases self-confidence, improves decision-making abilities, and enhances organizational skills. These classes include the rules of the game, basic strategy, and an introduction to opening theory. No chess equipment is necessary; all is supplied.
