Our mission is simple. Summer camp provides children with unique experiences that help them grow, learn, have FUN, and build lasting relationships. We foster the values of sharing, responsibility, and respect, and help campers embark upon a journey that develops a greater sense of self-esteem, self-confidence, and resilience, in a loving and caring environment.
One of the most enjoyable parts of Camp Buccaneer is the wide variety of activities. Campers are involved with theme days (Water Day; Red, White, and Blue Day; Carnival Day, and more) and special events that become special summer memories!
- Art and Crafts: Drawing and painting, clay, nature, beading, paper mâché, and cooking.
- Science (at the Middle School creek): Creek walk, hiking, building and racing your own boats, fishing, cast netting and animal tracking.
- Group Games: Capture the flag, scatterball, spud, kickball, and many more.
- Sports Electives: Lacrosse, basketball, soccer, hockey, football, gymnastics, baseball, pickleball, and badminton.
- Circus Activities: Rolling globe, diabolo, juggling pedalo, unicycles, rolla bolla, spinning plates, and devil sticks.
