Team History
As one of the first sports offered for boys in the 60s, the Rebels (Country Day’s mascot at the time) were coached by the legendary John Cook through that decade. The first NCISAA wrestling tournament was held in the 1978–1979 season, and Country Day earned its first of seven program NCISAA State Championships that inaugural year under Coach Rich Ulrich. Coach Rick Stack then led the Bucs through the 80s and 90s. Under his command, the Bucs earned six NCISAA titles. The Bucs have earned four runner-up trophies, the last coming during their 2008–2009 campaign under Coach Jeff Keiser. Coach Stephen Spada took over the program in 2013–2014.
