Freezing temperatures are predicted overnight and into the morning, which will cause icy roads and unsafe driving conditions. Therefore, Country Day will be closed TOMORROW, Thursday, January 18. All school-related activities, athletic events, and Extended Day are cancelled.
Administrators will continue to monitor the weather and road conditions. As of now, school is scheduled to be open on a regular schedule on Friday, January 19, and we will communicate with you if any changes are made.
We continually place the safety of our students, faculty, and staff as our top priority. Thank you and be safe.
Support Country Day
Alumni give back to Country Day in lots of meaningful ways. Gifts of time, talent, and resources help demonstrate the strength of our institution and reflect alumni gratitude for the exceptional Country Day experience that we benefitted from as students.
Our Top Giving Priority
The Country Day Fund is the school's top giving priority, and we encourage all alumni to participate to the best of their ability. Dollars raised each year provide unrestricted support to the school to help cover the cost difference between tuition revenue and Country Day’s actual operating costs. Like with any organization, operating costs go up each year. However, the school is committed to minimizing tuition increases to keep Country Day as affordable as possible, while sustaining the Country Day experience for current and future students and faculty. We rely on philanthropic support from our entire community to bridge the gap.
Broad Alumni Participation in the Country Day Fund is Critical
When you make a gift to the Country Day Fund, you send a powerful message to our community, prospective families, outside organizations, and foundations that you believe in the value and impact of the Country Day educational experience. Every gift matters, no matter the size. Every gift makes a difference. Learn more about the Country Day Fund.
