"Being a part of the football team has taught me the benefits of hard work and perseverance, while also giving me a support group that I can lean on and trust whenever necessary. "Julien

"Being a part of the cross country team has given me the chance to push myself to challenge how far and fast I can run. There is no greater feeling than finishing a race while hearing your teammates and coaches cheer you on."Isabelle

Boosters Club

Founded in 1977, the Boosters Club encourages and supports strong interscholastic athletic and physical education programs at Country Day. Each year parents volunteer their time and expertise to support our athletes through a variety of community-building, spirit-promotion, and fundraising activities.

Homecoming

Boosters organize spirit events for all school divisions, including two Lower School Spirit Nights, pizza dinners for Middle School athletes, a Homecoming cookout, and a golf tournament. An annual highlight is the Coaches' Appreciation Dinner at which the winners of the Carl Bolick Coaching Award, honoring excellence of character, sportsmanship, and service, are announced.

Homecoming

Boosters Club volunteers stay busy throughout the year selling concessions at sporting events and Special Olympics, managing ticket and merchandise sales, participating in Big Saturday, and producing the BucSports Year in Review magazine. Membership in Boosters is open to all parents, alumni, and friends.

The Boosters Club also assists the school in purchasing athletic equipment that benefits every Country Day student. Coaches and PE teachers submit specific funding requests through an allocation process administered by the Boosters Club board. Since 2005, over $500,000 has been allocated to fund items to better serve our students.
