Featuring an introduction by Millie Dalton Cox '66 and a film screening of "Miracle," by Professor Richard Eller of Catawba Valley Community College.

First 100 attendees will receive a special "End Polio Now" pin
- Special introduction by Millie Dalton Cox '66, former director of International Studies and polio survivor
- Featuring a presentation and documentary by Richard Eller, professor of History, Catawba Valley Community College.
- "Miracle" (2017), a documentary investigating the 1944 polio epidemic and the response of the community of Hickory, NC. The epidemic was a milestone in the search for a cure because of the low mortality rate, thanks to a combined community and nation-wide effort to combat the disease.
- Learn about the PAST impact of polio on our community, understand the impact of polio in our PRESENT world, and help END polio NOW and in the FUTURE.
