Charlotte Country Day School's three division libraries offer a wide variety of resources including print and electronic formats to support academic endeavors and pleasure reading. Students can locate library resources using our web-based automated catalog of holdings and other database services, including EBSCO Host and WorldBook Online from any Internet connected device. Students are encouraged to use the library and its resources throughout the school day, independently and with classes. Professional library faculty are dedicated to each division library to teach and assist students in locating, evaluating, and using information effectively.

The Middle School houses the Dougherty Library, offering access to more than 10,000 books and non-print material through an automated online catalog. The school library/media program is an integral part of the instructional process. The course of study is designed to teach students skills in locating, evaluating, and applying information to help them function effectively. The goal of the program is to ensure that each student acquires skills necessary to become an independent learner.
