Charlotte Country Day School provides a multifaceted Extended Day Program that is fun for children and flexible and convenient for parents. Children, grades JK-8, enjoy both organized activities and plenty of supervised free time, which stimulates their physical, artistic, social, and intellectual development. We also place high value on spontaneous play, which is essential in a child's social and cognitive development.
While many children are enrolled in the Extended Day Program because their parents work, others come on a drop-in basis, and others come to participate in one of the Coordinate Programs offered after school.
Regardless of whether your child wants to be with us every afternoon or be an occasional visitor, we are committed to providing a fun and enriching experience for the children in our care.

Several after-school enrichment programs are available to Charlotte Country Day School students, and many children enrolled in the Extended Day Program take advantage of these opportunities for an additional fee.
