2007 Class Profile
The class of 2007 graduated 112 seniors who attend 47 colleges and universities in 20 different states in the U.S., and one in Switzerland.

CCDS graduates are accepted to such selective
schools as Harvard, Yale, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton,
Brown, Georgetown and St. Andrews (Scotland).

College Scholarships
- Based on academic merit, leadership, athletic ability, and artistic talent,
the class of 2007 received scholarship offers of nearly $4 million.
Notable awards for recent graduates include:
- Morehead-Cain Scholarship to UNC-Chapel Hill
- Isabelle Cannon Scholar
- Two National Merit Scholars
- Three college-sponsored Merit Scholarships (one to Washington University and two to UNC-Chapel Hill)
- 10 National Merit semifinalists
- 10 Commended Scholars
- One National Achievement semifinalist
- Honors Program acceptances at Clemson University, Elon University, Hampden-Sydney College, UNC-Chapel Hill, UNC-Charlotte, Southern Methodist University, University of South Carolina, and Vanderbilt University.
Athletic Scholarhips
Class members will compete at these NCAA schools:
Division I
- Men's soccer at NC State University; women's soccer at Vanderbilt University
- Men's tennis at NC State University; women's tennis at Howard University
- Women's cross-country at Davidson College
- Baseball at UNC-Pembroke
- Football at Vanderbilt University, the University of Pittsburgh, the U.S. Air Force Academy; and Virginia Military Institute
- Men's lacrosse at Providence College
- Women's gymnastics at Iown State University
